"Maybe some humans do understand, that all living things suffer and all living things deserve respect." Watership Down. This painting was inspired by the novel as well as the Netflix series Watership Down. I wanted to create a piece that represented the oppression the rabbits experience throughout both the novel and series. The end qoute, which is featured above, connected with me because as humans we are capable of showing mercy and compassion towards all living creatures.
